Junk

Junk is an award-winning short film written and directed by Kirk Hendry and produced by Lydia Russell with support from the UK Film Council's New Cinema Fund.

It tells the story of a boy with an obsession for junk food and the importance of following your gut instinct! Junk has been selected at over 70 film festivals, winning numerous awards as it continues to screen around the world.

For the 70+ shots mainly 2D character animation and 2.5D compositing was used, altough the film features a large number of 3D assets as well.

We did work throughout the project from building and animating 3D scenes to compositing on various shots.
